I didn't want to do it half-heartedly, so I made it with the aim of making it taste just like the one in the store!
With all of our stores closed due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, we felt we had to do something, so we came up with the idea of developing a kit that would allow customers to enjoy delicious ramen at home. However, if we were going to make it, we wanted our customers to think, "It tastes just like it does in the restaurant!" With that in mind, we put a lot of effort into developing soup, noodles, and ingredients that could be frozen for mail order .
We have created our products assuming that customers will actually cook at home , taking into account the cooking utensils and stove power used.
AFURI's most popular item: Yuzu Shio Ramen
At AFURI, we currently operate 14 stores in Japan and 8 stores overseas (in the United States, Canada, Portugal, Hong Kong, and Singapore).
The most popular item worldwide is "Yuzu Shio Ramen."
A Japanese-style soup made from clear chicken broth, aromatic vegetables, and seafood such as kelp, dried sardines, and bonito flakes. This original drink, which is topped off with freshly squeezed yuzu juice from Kochi Prefecture, is popular with a wide range of customers, regardless of age, gender, or nationality.

The combination of Japanese-style broth and yuzu may conjure up images of a light and refreshing dish. It may be hard to imagine that this is ramen, but please rest assured. The elaborate ingredients really bring out the ramen-ness.
In particular, the "seared pork" is an ingredient that is as synonymous with AFURI as yuzu. Pork belly, which has a good balance of lean meat and fat, is braised to retain plenty of umami, dipped in a sweet and spicy sauce, and then roasted to give it a fragrant finish.

We began offering online sales during the simultaneous closure of all our physical stores due to the impact of COVID-19, but the reality is that the environment surrounding retail operations in the post-COVID/with-COVID era remains extremely tough.
