Television and newspapers tend to report on the plight of restaurants, but we are not the only restaurants suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. If we trace it back to its roots, we find that wholesalers, logistics companies, producers, and others are all enduring difficult situations in their own ways.
To be honest, our AFURI stores are only operating at about 50% of the same month last year. In the toughest-hit stores in urban areas, customer numbers have dropped by nearly 25%. When consumption at stores drops this much, purchases naturally decrease, goods stop moving, and food ingredients end up with nowhere to go.
With this background in mind, this time we will be giving away "premium aosa nori" from Ise Bay, Mie Prefecture . There are many types of aosa nori in the world, but this is the highest quality in both color and aroma. If you soak it in water and add it to your ramen, you can enjoy the pleasant sea flavor to your heart's content.
A dry type that is easy to use and rehydrates easily. We will give away a generous amount (the amount in the photo above is enough for three uses) with each ramen, tsukemen, and hotpot product, starting with orders placed today.
