We will give you a free original Eho noodle (which is really long)!
Over 2m long! Slurping it up in silence... Ehomen (lol)
*The giveaway has ended! (January 30th, 18:50)
We will be giving away a limited number of AFURI original bonus noodles, Eho noodles, to enjoy on Setsubun, with orders placed today (while supplies last).
For each ramen/tsukemen/hot pot item, you will receive 3 bags of braised pork and 1 serving of Eho noodles!!
You may be wondering what we are doing at a time when people are saying how difficult it is because of COVID-19, but while it is true that we are struggling, we also want to have a little fun and a sense of humor. That is what AFURI is, in fact.
To be honest, I actually wanted to finish it as a single item and sell it, but the state of emergency declaration caused a lot of chaos inside AFURI. We didn't have enough time to make it into a product that we could charge for, so we decided to use the leftover meat to add it to our highly acclaimed "Kakuni Char Siu" gift!
That being said, this is by no means a sloppy product. The noodles themselves are extremely well-made, and we believe that the chewy taste of the yuzu puree kneaded into them could be developed into a different product in the future. So, we hope you will enjoy this as a "taste test" of new possibilities .
As the title says, each wide Kishimen-like noodle is over 2m long! Each ball weighs about 200g and contains only 8 noodles (wide at the end) . Yes, this is unprecedented.
This time, we are including a special sauce, toppings, and chopped seaweed so that you can enjoy this Eho Noodle as a delicious "Yuzu Shio-ae Soba."
This year's Setsubun falls on Tuesday, February 2nd. It usually falls on February 3rd, but this will be the first time in 124 years since 1897 that Setsubun will fall on the 2nd. On Setsubun day, please face this year's lucky direction (south-southeast) and silently slurp down a bowl of noodles that is over 2 meters long.
