This product is part of AFURI's second concept, Karakurenai, which offers "delicious, spicy and sour" ramen and tsukemen.
Fresh pork belly with cartilage is boiled in a large pressure cooker for about 3 hours until the cartilage becomes soft and tender. The dish is seasoned with a special sauce made from aromatic vegetables such as ginger and green onions, tamari soy sauce, honey, yuzu jam, orange juice, etc.
Because it is soft and juicy, you might mistakenly think it is greasy, but in fact it contains very little oil. (It melts during cooking.) The transparent part inside is cartilage that has melted under high heat. In other words, it is collagen.
It's so soft that it melts in your mouth, and the sweet and spicy flavor goes perfectly with spicy soup! You can also put it on rice as in the example in the photo and enjoy it as your own original char siu rice bowl.

▼How to eat: If heating in a water bath, place the bag in boiling water and heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
- If using a microwave, transfer to a plate, cover with plastic wrap, and heat for 40 seconds to 1 minute.

We deliver the noodles, soup, and ingredients used in our restaurant, so you can easily enjoy the taste of our restaurant in the comfort of your own home.

Don't worry. AFURI's meal kits are easy to prepare; all you have to do is heat up the delicious soup and ingredients and combine them with boiled noodles. If you add your own ingredients that aren't included in the kit (such as raw vegetables or boiled eggs), you can create a bowl of ramen that is just as good as the one you get at the restaurant!
